Phoenix Film Festival Kids Day & Giveaway
When I was a kid, I loved the movies! I dreamed of becoming an actress and being on screen. As I grew up, I changed my dream a little, but my love of the movies and TV is still very strong! If you have a budding actor, director or movie lover in your household, Phoenix Film Festival Kids Day is one festival you need to attend. I’m sharing this event because it is one that I would have loved to go to as a kid.
On Saturday March 28th from 9AM to 2PM the Phoenix Film Festival opens it doors to guests of all ages to experience the magic of movies. This FREE event has tons of activities to entertain everyone from your young directors to your teenage actors. At the event, your family can walk the red carpet and get your picture taken by paparazzi 
Act in front of a green screen.
And older kids will have the opportunity to create their own film!
In addition to all of the activities, Kid’s Day will also offer a $5 family friendly film. At 1:40pm, you can catch a showing of Disney’s Monkey Kingdom:
Life is an adventure for Maya, the clever and resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey in “Monkey Kingdom,” Disneynature’s new film set among ancient ruins in the storied jungles of South Asia. Maya’s world is forever changed when she welcomes son Kip into her complicated extended family. Like all families, Maya’s has more than its share of colorful personalities—and she’s determined to give her son a leg up in the world. When their longtime home at Castle Rock is taken over by powerful neighboring monkeys, Maya’s family relocates, and she uses her street smarts and ingenuity to lead them to untapped resources amidst strange new creatures and unsettling surroundings. Ultimately, they will have to work together to reclaim Castle Rock, where Maya can hopefully realize her dreams for her son’s future.
