Does this sound like the plot to some amazing book? Well, believe it or not, it’s the short version of Award-winning author Elle Cosimano’s real life! In addition to book club fav Finlay Donovan is Killing It, Elle – once a real estate agent – has written 9 mysteries and thrillers for adults and young adults (with more on the way!). Elle is also a homeschooling mama of two teenage boys and we are totally fan-girling having her on the podcast this week!

Elle shares with us how she left her lucrative career in the DC metro area when she felt like something big was missing. So she took a sabbatical and found her happiness in Mexico, with her family of four (and dog!), writing her first book. Through that experience, Elle discovered what was truly important, how to appreciate a simpler way of life, and most importantly, to teach her kids how to fail forward!
